Dan is a longtime NYC journalist who shifted to book ghostwriting in 2019 to spend more time with his then-2-year-old son. He’s fallen in love with books and has ghostwritten 25 manuscripts, two of which have become bestsellers. His biography about baseball MVP Ken Caminiti, Playing Through the Pain, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. He lives outside of New York City with his wife and son.

Isabella is a Maine-based writer and author who has been book ghostwriting for five years. Her writing career has produced more than 30 ghostwritten manuscripts, 25 of which are currently published. Several of her collaborations have won awards like the Literary Titan Award, placed in contests like Fall Bookfest, or received 5-star Reader’s Favorite awards from Reader Views. As someone who’s been writing full-length manuscripts since her teens, Isabella is thrilled to have turned her passion into a career.

Nancy Burkhalter, PhD, calls herself a “hired pencil.” She has written academic journal articles, textbooks on critical thinking, personal and corporate histories, magazine and newspaper stories, biographies, historical fiction, and ghostwriting. Ghostwriting topics have also been diverse: chemical engineering, nonprofits, transplant surgery, teaching in an inner city school, anesthesiology, and a biography of a WWI veteran who developed tear gas technology. Her education includes a master's in journalism, a second master’s in English education, and a doctorate in linguistics.
